Coral or padauck (African) is a sensational crimson coral timber, heavy, hard and strong. Over time with oxidization the rich dark red turns to a deep vermillion brown hue. About as heavy, but stronger than oak, padauk works exceptionally well with either hand or power tools. You'll have no trouble gluing or sanding padauk. For a beautiful finishing touch to your ship model. Our exotic woods are excellent for the application of inlays.
